Consistency for Anders Fjordbach in Misano Blancpain test

With less than three weeks for the start of the season in Nogaro, the family of Blancpain Srprint Series travelled to the Italian mythical track of Misano for the two traditional days of Official Collective Test with the presence of the principal 2015 title contenders.

The Audi R8 LMS Ultra of High Class Racing with car number 74 was also entered with Anders Fjordbach who came from a successful test days in southern France track of Paul Ricard the previous week with the team. His team mate Thomas Fjordbach was this time absent in China preparing the first round of GT Asia.

The team completed an intensive session on Tuesday with Fjordbach at the wheel of the Audi with ninety seven laps on the track and setting regular times with a short gap of 0.3 of the best time. The sensations of the Danish were positive “Very good day, the car worked perfectly today. We try some things, tomorrow more action!”

The performance showed in the first day was also repeated the second, in which Anders improved his best times with consistency downing 1 second at the end of the day. The adaptation with the major compounds of the car like brakes or tyres and a good solid set up were two of the main objectives accomplished in a perfect test in Italy for the team.

After leave the R8 Anders Fjordbach reported: “I’m very happy of what things gone these two days here in Misano. Definitely the hard work that we made the last weeks with the team, go in the right direction. Every time that I run with the Audi I feel more comfortable and we are able to improve substantially. We drove a lot these two days and we made remarkable times, so this made us stronger for the first meeting in Nogaro. No doubt that It will be an interesting season! ”

Next racing compromise for High Class Racing will be in Zhuhai International Circuit (21-22/March) on the first round of Audi R8 LMS Cup (GT Asia) in which will take part Thomas Fjordbach.
