Christopher Haase returns to ADAC GT Masters

CarCollection have confirmed two drivers for the 2016 ADAC GT Masters. Christopher Haase is returning to the series. Isaac Tutumlu-Lopez is a new entrant.

The first ADAC GT Masters champion is back in the Super Sports Car League. Christopher Haase, 2007 champion and two-time winner of the ADAC 24-Hours at the Nürburgring will race an Audi R8 LMS during the 2016 season for newcomers, CarCollection. Haase will share the cockpit with Dutch driver Christiaan Frankenhout. Haase and Frankenhout were previously team-mates in the ADAC GT Masters and already have experience of an Audi R8, contesting the 2010 season finale together.

Apart from Haase and Frankenhout, the driver of the second CarCollection Audi R8 LMS has also now been confirmed. Spanish driver Isaac Tutumlu-Lopez will debut in the ADAC GT Masters for Peter Schmidt’s team. Tutumlu-Lopez has lined up in recent years in various national and international GT series and in the WTCC World Touring Car Championship. The Spaniard’s team-mate has yet to be decided.
