Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 made today its debut in the International GT Open at the Jerez circuit. The Japanese car run by Nova Race with JRM Group support, scored an eight-place finish in Race 1 with 26-year-old Briton Craig Dolby and Lorenzo Bontempelli.

After having set the 11th overall time in Q1, the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 claimed the eight position and the fifth in the GTS class, although a difficult pit-stop due to a tire changer problem. Dolby, at his very first experience in covered wheels, showed well in the his stint as Bontempelli pushed hard during the final part of the race.

“I am very pleased of this result. – team principal Elisa Maioli commented - Dolby gained more and more confidence with the car. Bontempelli and the whole team were perfect. I also want to thank Autorlando Sport, that let us to use their tire warmers”.
