After much anticipation Turner is extremely excited to announce the new Borla Partnership for the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge opening races. As part of the 2015 PWC program Turner will campaign the No. 32 Borla Exhaust BMW Z4 GT3 in GT class competition at Circuit of the Americas and St. Petersburg.

The No. 32 BMW Z4 GT3 driven by Bret Curtis will feature a livery with Borla Exhaust as the primary sponsor marking the first time a Turner Motorsport BMW will compete in a professional race without the iconic blue and yellow livery. Instead, the Borla Exhaust BMW will feature black, matte grey and “Hot Rod Red” coloring to represent the Borla brand.

“We’ve had such a long standing partnership with the Turner team it’s really exciting to be able to step up and support them at higher level than we have in the past,” said David Borla, VP of Sales and Marketing at Borla Industries.

David Borla added, “From building custom exhaust parts for their race cars, to using that race bred technology in designing and building better aftermarket parts for BMW owners, Borla and Turner have combined for decades to give BMW owners what they really want most. This sponsorship amplifies what Turner and Borla have been doing together for decades.”

Borla Exhaust has been a Turner race partner since 1998. Throughout that period Borla product has been the choice for each and every Turner Motorsport racecar from the early E36 3-series up to the E92 M3 GT platform. Borla as well as Turner has been committed to providing world class products which surpass the expectations of the customers making the partnership natural.

Since 1998, Borla’s strong and consistent support has helped Turner compete in over 275 professional races, winning seven professional championships. In 2003 and 2004 Turner Motorsport BMWs won back-to-back Championships in the SPEED World Challenge equipped with Borla stainless steel performance exhaust systems.

“Borla Exhaust has been such a great partner of Turner for over 15 years and I am extremely excited to bring our relationship up to the next level with this fully branded Borla car,” commented Will Turner. “This will be the first time we (Turner Motorsport) will compete without a Turner branded blue and yellow livery in over 300 races which makes this partnership very unique and that much more exciting.”

“Borla has always made a superior product for BMW as well as other manufacturers and we are proud to have such a close relationship with them,” added Turner.

The Borla branded No. 32 BMW of Bret Curtis will run alongside the No. 95 of Bill Ziegler for the first two 2015 PWC events and will revert back to the Turner blue and yellow livery for the Long Beach Grand Prix in April.

The 2015 Pirelli World Challenge season kicks off on March 6th in Austin, Texas at the famed Circuit of the Americas. Later in March the team will head south to St. Petersburg for the St. Pete Grand Prix on March 28th and 29th.
