Drivers quotes:
Valdeno Brito, BMW Z4 #77
“I do not know this racetrack. In Moscow Raceway there are some options of the circuits that can be used and I still not sure in which we let´s to race. But the expectation is good. I’m excited to try to keep the good results we’ve been having in Blancpain Sprint Series”.
Átila Abreu, BMW Z4 #77
“The change of venue was a surprise, because the race would be a street circuit and will now be at the track, which is a racetrack used by various categories, such as WTCC and DTM. I took a look at the videos, and from what I saw, I was encouraged enough. It’s a circuit that doesn´t have very long straights. The most of the curves is the average speed, which is very good for BMW team. I am very optimistic, because it gives the impression of being a favorable track for us. Our goal is to try to discount the difference to double the Audi # 1, which is leading the championship. We know that is a very competent and double their car is also very good. Moreover, it is a track that anyone knows neither the staff, neither the drivers. But we will continue working as we have done, evolving each race. We are well in the team´s standings and in the driver´s championship too and we hope to return from Russia with a good result. We will work enough for Moscow to surprise us positively”.
Cacá Bueno, BMW Z4 #0
“We have been very well in the Sprint series and the expectation is good to try to keep what we have done. Being a new circuit for everyone, it may be that there have an advantage to find the setup of the car. But it is difficult to make a prediction of what to expect from round without knowing the track. We spent close to the podium at Brands Hatch and Zolder and it is important to keep ourselves among the first, because one day the podium happens. We are also fighting for victory and we will work to make it happen”.
Sérgio Jimenez, BMW Z4 #0
“We (me and Cacá) are passing near the podium at the last two races. We stayed in fourth place on three occasions; let’s see now, at this round, we fit a podium. It is expected to be competitive, since the free practices to get to the Top-3 in the races. The fight will be good with the Audis, as always. And by having only one long straight, we believe that we can have good results. The goal is to get out of Moscow with good points and two podiums for the BMW Z4 #0, and perhaps we to get the podium with two cars of the Brazilian team”.
