“We’re extremely pleased to have Southwest Funding on board,” said BAR1 owner, Brian Alder. “They’re a Texas based company, so it’s a great tie-in to have them make their TUDOR United Sports Car debut here at the Circuit of the Americas. In addition, we’ve paired Don Yount with Ryan Lewis for this weekend. I think they’ll work extremely well together.”

Don Yount
“I’m really excited to get my first TUDOR Prototype Challenge experience, especially in my home state in front of family and friends. Needless to say, I am humbled by the quality of drivers that will be on track at this event . The No. 61 Southwest Funding car will be running our company colors and giving our all toward a successful finish.
BAR1 has put together a good car for the race, so we’re looking forward showing what Ryan and I can do against this incredible PC field. I’ve made it my main goal to be consistent and turn over a healthy car so Ryan to get in and deliver us a good finish.”
Ryan Lewis
“I am looking forward to competing in the TUDOR series again, especially at a track like Circuit of the Americas. I have managed to keep my eye in there for the past couple of years winning some vintage races. I will be doing my best to make sure that Don and I can come away with a solid success for his Sports Car debut.”
John Falb
“It is great to be back in the JetSuite/Edvisors #16 car with Todd. Lone Star Le Mans is my most anticipated event this year and it should be spectacular. The track is very technical and challenging yet also very safe… it is the only FIA grade track we run. BAR1 has been hard at work ensuring we have a great car for the event.
Also, for the first time my Dad is coming to see a race and I know he is going to love it! ”
Todd Slusher
“Team Vegas is super excited to get back in BAR1 No. 16 car and see if we can find our way to a step on the podium! I’ve never run at Circuit of the Americas or, for that matter, been to Austin. I can’t wait to see and experience both! Hashtag: lookin to go big in Texas!”
