With great pleasure Ingo Strackerjan, Team Manager of Atlantic Racing Team in Asia, announced today the first two 2014 Team Driver, Guille Pintanel and Tamakorn Ramindra.
“ It is for sure a great pleasure to announce our first two drivers for the 2014 racing season. Guille Pintanel of Spain, well known already in Europe and Asia from the various Formula races and his racing partner Tamakorn Ramindra of Thailand, having lately raced in Europe the Ferrari Challenge Series. Guille and us we go way back, wanting to race together for a long time but really never had the opportunity until this year when the opportunity arose.“ Strackerjan explained. ”Tamakorn’s experience in the Ferrari Challenge in Europe will be a great benefit to the team. With our well trained personnel and under the care of our over 40 years of experienced race engineers we are certain that these two drivers will succeed.”
“For 2014 we established an ambitious race program for our drivers and our team. The success in the 2012 and 2013 Blancpain Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Series , we had 12 first and 8 podium places, are again on the list we have to achieve. We decided for 2014 to run as an independent team in the BLST Series as it is the last season for the Gallardo Super Trofeo car.”
“As well we are participating with two newly developed 2014 WOLF Prototype cars in the Asian LeMans CN/LMP3 Class as the official factory team. We hope that the new LMP2 car, now under development at the factory in Italy, be coming to Asia in for the last 2 ALMS races so that our drivers can also experience the newest technologies. We will give all our drivers the opportunity to race in both series if and when there is no race date conflict.” Strackerjan said.
ATL has openings in the Asian LeMans Series in one of the Prototype CN cars. For the individual who prefers their own cars, ATL can provide a brand new WOLF GB08 Prototype CN car as well as mechanical and technical personnel.
