Milton Keynes racer Andrew Jarman is set to kick start his 2016 season campaign at the world famous Fuji Motor Speedway in Japan for the next round of the GT Challenge Japan with Official Aston Martin Racing Partner Team, Alpha Classics Racing in their GT3 Aston Martin Racing V12 Vantage.

After a successful end to his 2016 Avon Tyres British GT Championship season which included back to back podiums and pole positions, Andrew is looking to continue his long standing association with the British marque since winning the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge in 2013 and finishing runner up in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship – GT4 class in 2014.

“It’s great to be back in an Aston GT3 car after the long winter break, this will be my second time racing in Fuji (Japan) and somewhere I have always wished to come back to. Alpha Classics Racing is a relatively new team in Japan but with big aspirations and I’m delighted to be joining them next weekend and hoping we can have a strong result”.

In addition to racing in Japan this season, Andrew is hoping to continue his successful GT3 graduation after stepping into the class in 2015 with an announcement coming soon on his plans for the rest of the season.

“GT3 is without doubt for me the best category in Motorsport at the moment and where I want to be for this year, next weekend [In Japan] is a great example of the category’s strength that you can race virtually anywhere in the world in near identical cars. “I’m close to finalise my plans for the rest of the season and hope I can advance on my experience gained in British GT last year”.
