AF Corse, Ferrari’s flagship team in the GT arena, will again have a strong presence in the 2016 International GT Open. “We have a long-standing relationship with the GT Open”, says Ugo Maceratini, who leads the Piacenza-based squad’s effort in the series together with Batti Pregliasco, “and we have had many satisfactions in this championship which our customers like a lot. It will be so this year too and I can already confirm a core entry of three cars, although we will certainly have more cars at selected event, like it has always happened in the past.”

Regarding driver line-ups, two pairs can already be announced. Claudio Sdanewitsch, who took GT-Am honours in the last two years, will be sharing the wheel of one of the cars with Stéphane Lémeret. The German and the Belgian already drove together last year at Spa. Marco Cioci and Russia’s Alexander Moiseev will drive another of the cars.

AF Corse, who will defend this year its GT Open Teams’ title, will start the season at the Jerez winter test end of this month.
