It has just been confirmed that the GT Asia Series will once again hold rounds of the AAMC Macau GT Cup at selected events during the season in what will now be the third year of this collaboration.
For 2014, the AAMC Macau GT Cup will be held in 3 countries, Japan, Malaysia and China, Integrated with the GT Asia Championship rounds.
Drivers participating at four race weekends will vie for a special AAMC Macau GT Cup.
The agreement was recently signed between Associacao General de Automovel de Macau-China (the Automobile General Association Macao-China or AAMC) and the Supercar Club Hong Kong, on behalf of the GT Asia Series.
The AAMC Macau GT Cup is a special award for the top three drivers and Championship points are accumulated from the GT Asia Fuji Japan race weekend Rounds 5 & 6 and ending in China during Rounds 11 & 12.
The AAMC Macau GT Cup Champion will be presented with his award by the AAMC at the Official Macau GP Prize Presentation Party after Round 13, the final race of the season, which will be held during the 61st Macau GP weekend.
