British motor racing team, WRO will be taking their place on the grid at one of the biggest events in motorsport, when they head to America for the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring next month.

Over the last six months there has been much speculation regarding WRO’s entry this year, however the team can now confirm they will be lining up on the grid at Sebring in just one month time in the LMPC class.

Having had their entry confirmed for the prestigious endurance event, the team are ecstatic to have achieved the first goal of their Sebring experience. Their next goal comes in the form of a race finish.

In terms of who will be piloting the car, the team signed Luca Moro in January this year. Luca’s team-mates are yet to be announced, however WRO hope to announce their full driver listing very soon.

Commenting on the announcement, Team Owner Daniel Woodard said: “It’s great to get an entry into the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, which was our first goal. Our next goal is to finish the race. We would like to say thank you to all of our partners – Iconick Energy Drinks, Dirtball Fashion and Rhino Stainless USA, for getting us this far.”

As the 12 Hours of Sebring edges closer, WRO’s timetable is coming together. Their first port of call is the two day test session at the beginning of the week, with practice, qualifying and then the main event following just a few days later. More news of WRO’s driver line-up will be announced in due course.
