Giancarlo Fisichella and Gianmaria Bruni are satisfied after the debut behind the wheel of the Ferrari F458 with AF Corse team. After the first official test of the Le Mans Series (LMS) on the Paul Ricard circuit (Le Castellet, France) in the last week end, the new Ferrari car showed a very good potential and there was already a positive feeling with the two Roamn drivers.
“The F458 is a car which we are knowing better; at the moment, the preambles are bright,” Amato Ferrari, AF Corse Team Principal, says-. “It’s important to find the best set up for the first championship race of the Le Mans Series. Both drivers are very fast and have understood the aerodynamics of the new car on the track. There is also a good feeling with the Michelins Tires”.
Also the perfomance of the other two AF Corse Ferraris at Paul Ricard are positive. The F430 will run in the GTE Am category with the crews Giuseppe Perazzini-Marco Cioci-Stéphane Lemeret and Robert Kaufman -Michael Waltrip-Rui Aguas.
However, the team which AF Corse lined up for the official test is not yet definitive for the season.
