ADR-Delta are currently running seventeenth, tenth in LMP2, in the 2012 Le Mans 24-Hour Race as the event continues through the hours of darkness. Having led the LMP2 category away at the start of the race from the class pole position, the team’s number 25 Oreca 03 Nissan encountered a small clutch problem during an early stint. This resulted in time being lost while John Martin was at the wheel. Jan Charouz took his first turn in the car during early evening, before Tor Graves drove as the sun went down.
John returned to number 25 for the fourth driver rotation but during his stint bodywork that had worked itself loose caused the water temperature to rise. To fix the problem the car had to be pushed into the pit box. Two laps were lost and also a number of places to near class rivals. Jan has now returned to the car and, at this time, is one of the fastest LMP2 cars on the circuit.
