Yuhi Sekiguchi will join VSR’s driver line up for the next round of the Asian Le Mans Series which will take place at Fuji in Japan on 3rd and 4th December. The Japanese ace who this year raced in GT500 as well as being awarded Super Formula Rookie of the Year will race the VSR Lamborghini Huracán GT3 alongside Kei Cozzolino and Corey Lewis.
Yuhi Sekiguchi: I am thrilled to be joining the Asian Le Mans Series at Fuji and to be back with the VSR staff who I know from my racing experience in Europe. I shook their Lamborghini down in the summer when I was in Italy and it was a good feeling to return to the team. I have a lot of experience racing at Fuji in Super GT and Super Formula. I am really looking forward to joining the Asian Le Mans Series – the GT category looked super competitive in the first round at Zhuhai and there are many top level teams and drivers racing. I hope this will be a first step for me on a road which will lead to racing in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is one of my dreams, and I will do my best to help VSR achieve another good result following the podium they won in their debut race.
