ADR-Delta today announce the signing of Jan Charouz for the 6-Hours of Silverstone – round four of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) that takes place on Sunday 26th August at Silverstone, Great Britain. Charouz will join John Martin and Tor Graves in ADR-Delta’s Oreca -Nissan 03 line-up at Silverstone just as he did at the Le Mans 24-Hour Race in June.

The Czech Republic racer brings a wealth of experience to the team, including extensive knowledge of sports prototype racing. Charouz made his Le Mans debut in 2007 and so far has a career best finish of fourth in the famous race, scored in 2009 when he formed part of the AMR Eastern Europe team in a Lola-Aston Martin B09/60. He was also the Le Mans Series champion in 2009, driving the famous 007 Aston Martin LMP1.

Outside of prototype racing, Charouz has also raced in categories such as Formula Renault 3.5 and A1GP, while also serving as Test Driver for the Lotus and Renault F1 team. ADR-Delta are currently placed second in the LMP2 class of the FIA WEC and arrive at Silverstone fresh from finishing thirteenth at Le Mans in the 80th edition of the world’s most famous motor race in June.

Jan Charouz: “I am really happy to race again with ADR-Delta. I really enjoyed racing at Le Mans with the team and I think we will be in a very good position to challenge for class victory at Silverstone.”

Alan Docking, Team Principal: “We are really pleased to welcome Jan back to ADR-Delta for the 6-Hours of Silverstone. We really enjoyed having him as part of the team for Le Mans and he brings great experience and strength to our line-up.”
