KCMG Composites announce collaboration with DOME in Japan

KCMG Composites, a large-scale global solutions provider for Carbon Fiber Reinforced Parts (CRFP), has announced its collaboration with Asia’s leading automotive and motorsport engineering outfit, DOME Co. Ltd. The alliance was revealed today (May 26, 2016) during the opening ceremony of DOME’s new facility in Maibara, Japan.

In front of over 300 guests from the Japanese automotive, motorsport and business sectors, DOME President Takuya Takahashi introduced KCMG Composites Chief Executive Officer Dr. Paul Ip and officially announced the collaboration of the two entities to provide high quality and cutting edge work in the sphere of composites design and mass production services in the region.

DOME’s strong engineering support is poised to amplify KCMG Composites large scale manufacturing capability to meet the needs and current demand of the composites market. KCMG Composites also unveiled that they are set to execute Phase 2 of their business plan, which involves a state-of-the-art 51 hectare mass production facility in Taiwan.

By joining forces with the Japanese powerhouse, KCMG Composites aims to serve a wide array of industries by delivering best solutions in the CFRP sector through their robust technical capabilities.

Apart from Dr. Ip, KCMG Composites global team was also present to grace the event, namely, Philippe Charissoux – Chief Operations Officer, Richie Chen – Taiwan Operations Director and Max Yen –Taiwan Production Director.
