Round 1 of the 2016 GT Asia series and Richard Lyons steps into Craft Bamboo Racings brand new Porsche 911 GT3. Taking a step into challenging territory in a new machine, and with testing well underway prior to race day, Lyons and race partner Frank Yu will be honing in on ideal race settings. After being ultra competitive in Korea last season, taking pole position and a podium third, Lyons will be taking aim at the top step this time out.

Situated just south of Seoul, this 5.62KM long Korean International Circuit will undoubtedly provide Craft Bamboo racing and its new weapon with many challenges. But if last season is anything to go by Lyons and Yu will come out of the blocks flying.

Richard Lyons:

“This week sees the first running for us with the new Porsche 911 GT3. We will have two test days on Monday and Tuesday to get to know this new machine followed by the first two rounds at the weekend.

For now it’s difficult to have a target but for sure Craft Bamboo Racing crew will be working on making it a championship contender.

Looking forwards to another new challenge.”
