ADR-Delta narrowly missed out on claiming pole position in LMP2 for the fifth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) today at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace Interlagos in Sao Paulo.

John Martin drove the number 25 ADR-Delta Oreca 03-Nissan during the qualifying session, with his time only beaten by the Starworks Motorsport HPD ARX driven by Stephane Sarrazin. ADR-Delta are looking to score their second win of the FIA WEC season in tomorrow’s 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, having been victorious in the last round of the championship at Silverstone three weeks ago.

Alan Docking, Team Principal commented: “We only missed out on pole position by a very small margin. John drove very well and although starting from class pole position is good, we must remember that the race lasts six hours. We believe we are in good shape and are looking forward to tomorrow.”
