Top Italian prototype team Avelon Formula will be back for the second Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi with a two-car entry.

New Speed Euroseries champion Ivan Bellarosa took pole position for the inaugural Abu Dhabi event and recently won the Sunoco Daytona Challenge. Official Wolf team Avelon will field a pair of GB08 chassis.

Team owner Giovanni Bellarosa said: “The first Gulf 12 Hours was a race of ups and downs for us. We hope to get a strong qualifying and race result this time! We are also looking forward to returning to a country that has an appetite and passion for motorsport that matches our own.”
