Celadrin Villorba Corse is ready to take part in the European Le Mans Series season finale on the 4 Hours of Estoril on October 17-18. In Portugal Italian team gets back to its “Road to Le Mans” and endurance racing projects with race drivers Giorgio Sernagiotto and Roberto Lacorte at the wheel of their Ginetta-Nissan LMP3. From fourth in the standings, the main goal of this final racing weekend will be to get confirmed on the podium of the new category after the Italian crew scored two second places in a row in the last two rounds held in Austria at the Red Bull Ring and in France at the Paul Ricard circuit.

Team Principal Raimondo Amadio comments ahead of the racing weekend: “We are about to end our first ELMS season which also is representing our return to sports car racing. In theory we can still fight for second place, which would be an incredible result after missing the first round at Silverstone and encountering some problems at the beginning of our work with the car. Race by race we have increased performance and reliability and that makes us mildly confident on the Portuguese commitment. The main goal is to collect as many points as possible and to immediately think about the future once the race has ended.

Sernagiotto says: I feel optimistic, although aware that fighting for victory will be very difficult. Now Celadrin Villorba Corse, Roberto Lacorte and I are a very cohesive team and, as usual, we will push very hard, especially in sight of major changes expected in 2016”.

Lacorte ends“We now reach the last round of this first and exciting ELMS season where experiencing thissignificant growth by the team has been a crucial result. At Estoril we must show our highest potential to clinch third place in the standings. We can make it.
