The Monza round will see a noteworthy come-back : Drivex, the Spanish team that has been a regular contender in the GT Open for years, makes its return with a new car. The Madrid-based squad of Miguel Ángel De Castro has acquired an Audi R8 LMS ultra and intends to be present in the final part of the season in view to prepare for a full 2016 campaign.

Driving the car in Monza will be a duo that needs no presentation in our series: former GTS Champion Lorenzo Bontempelli and Mino Caccia. The two popular figures and close friends have secured the drive thanks to their faithful sponsors (Names Sport, Snips and Sisgeo) and will certainly be followed by many fans from Lombardy and Canton Ticino in their home race.
