The victory of the 911 GT3-R in the colours of Alcra Flash-CMF-MoWeko during the last meeting held at the Nürburgring allowed ProSpeed Competition to brilliantly prove their worth in the Blancpain Endurance Series scene, the European endurance championship for Grand Touring cars. A first season that ProSpeed Competition wishes to end with a podium in the “Professional” rankings, and at the same time grabbing the best “rookie” title. In the “Drivers” rankings the third place is also the main objective of Marc Goossens, Xavier Maassen and Marc Hennerici, the crew manning the powerful Porsche #75. The final round of the Blancpain Endurance Series will be held at the Navarra circuit, on 13th and 14th October coming. This is also the ideal opportunity for Paul Van Splunteren, Maxime Soulet and Dylan Derdaele to confirm the brilliant rise up through the ranks of the 911 GT3-R #74 bearing the NEC-Remeha-Soleco in the “Pro-Am” class.
To take on the best European teams in the European endurance championship reserved for Grand Touring cars was an ambitious objective. The best European drivers in the discipline, a category where the most prestigious constructors of GT cars go head to head, endurance races of three hours… and with sprint finishes where victory comes down to within half a second! For ProSpeed Competition the gamble paid off, coming up trumps in the discipline as from the team’s first year in the discipline.

Continuously since 2008 ProSpeed Competition has brought back a title or a top choice performance for Porsche Motorsport. 2012 cannot be an exception to the rule. In theory, the sinuous Navarra circuit suits the cars of the latest generation perfectly, with their aerodynamic support. The results of the Porsche 911 GT3-R in the French GT-Tour – during a visit to Navarra – and our success at the Nürburgring goes to prove that everything is possible in competition when the balance of performances is clearly and justly defined.”
Xavier Maassen (Porsche 911 GT3-R #75 – “Pro Cup”): “The competition is extremely fierce, we need to bring our team up amongst the top players, and as since the beginning of the season, aim for the best performance possible during the race. The points will come of their own accord.”
Maxime Soulet (Porsche 911 GT3-R #74 – “Pro-Am Cup”): “The team’s strong improvement and rise is real. The team, Paul, Dylan and I still need to detail a few finer points to produce the perfect race. The challenge is achievable. In Germany our Porsche 911 was leading the “Pro-Am” class…”
