The Spa round of the International GT Open is around the corner and a latest addition comes to enrich the show : Aston Martin Brussels Racing is entering its Vantage GT3 for a duo of local heroes, composed of Tim Verbergt and Michael Schmetz. Although the car will sport its traditional yellow and white livery, this will really be a “Red Devil” entry that will delight local fans!

The competitive Belgian outfit is certainly not new to the GT Open, as it took part in selected events in 2012-13, when it was known as GPR Racing, clinching one overall and 4 GTS wins.

José Farasyn, now at the helm of the squad, commented: “We always enjoyed tremendously our GT Open outings in the past and it is nice to be at our home round with an all-Belgian team. After winning the BRCC title last year, we really wanted to go back to the international scene and the GT Open is the perfect platform for this. This, we hope, is just a kick-off for a permanent presence in the series.”
