New challenge for Christoph Esser’s team: At the season final of the British GT, the racing sport team from the Eiffel celebrates its mid-September début in Donington. PROsport Performance wants to defy the English with the two drivers Adam Christodoulou and Henry Hassid.
To date, the PROsport Performance racing sport team from the Eiffel has more than 100 class wins in the VLN, a title in the GT4 European Series and additional class wins in the 24-hour race on the Nürburgring race course to its credit. Now it wants to take another step forward with the start in the season final of the British GT in Donington Park. “The British GT is increasingly coming into focus for the media and fans,” says team leader Christoph Esser about the start. “We are confident that we can compete with the English.”
The mixed starting line-up also shows that the series is gaining popularity: Rather than the popular GT3 vehicles, the GT4 cars are now causing a sensation. This is exactly the right series to also take the Porsche Cayman SP of PROsport Performance in the GT4 category to the starting line.
The Frenchman Henry Hassid (55) and the Brit Adam Christodoulou (26) will be getting behind the wheel for PROsport Performance. Christodoulou became the British Formula Renault Champion at the age of 19 and is known for his skill in GT vehicles, especially around the Norsdschleife race course. Henry Hassid is familiar with GT cars as well. Between 2007 and 2011, he won the championship (category B) of the Porsche Carrera Cup France four times.
With the two drivers and a motivated team, PROsport Performance is travelling to the British Islands in mid-September to reach the next milestone on the path to success on the course with a length of 4.023 kilometres.
