Celadrin Villorba Corse took second place in the LMP3 class of the 4 Hours of the Red Bull Ring with Giorgio Sernagiotto and Roberto Lacorte at the wheel of their Ginetta-Nissan LMP3. Italian crew could celebrate their first positive result of the season on podium after coping another very demanding and tricky weekend. Considered by the team as the real debut in the championship after they were forced to miss Silverstone and then to take part in the Imola 4 Hours like it was a test race, third round of the 2015 European Le Mans Series started with an off track in the first half of the opening free practice session on Saturday morning. The whole squad begun to work on the damaged Ginetta-Nissan as soon as it was back in pits again. Their effort continued all night long to only finish on Sunday at 8h30 in time to allow both drivers to take part in the qualifying sessions.

Team principal Raimondo Amadio commented: “The whole team proved to be really strong so we are extremely delighted with this podium. I have to thank everyone for the great job done and for this unexpected result but, at the same time, I also remind that this is only a starting point. Now we have to recover the gap set in previous races”.
