Following a call to offer last May, Onroak Automotive has been selected by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) as one of the four manufacturers of LM P2 chassis selected for the new regulations of the category which will come into effect in 2017.

The LM P2 chassis of these new regulations will be homologated for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the Asian Le Mans Series (Asian LMS), the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, series where Onroak Automotive has already had numerous successes with their LM P2 chassis.

Thanks to the work done with the Morgan LM P2 and principally with the Ligier JS P2, Onroak Automotive has confirmed their status as a genuine manufacturer of sport-prototypes in the LM P2 category, and more widely in endurance with a presence in the CN categories – Ligier JS 53 EVO 2 – and more recently in LM P3 – Ligier JS P3.

The performances of the LM P2 chassis that have come out of the Le Mans workshops and entered by the different teams over the continents attest to this race after race.

What’s more, Onroak Automotive has known how to attract their clients, whose numbers are increasing, thanks to the great quality of services and follow up.

Jacques Nicolet, President of Onroak Automotive: “It’s an honour to have been chosen by the ACO, the FIA and IMSA to be one of the four official suppliers of LM P2 chassis from 2017, and I’m also proud to be among manufacturers such as Oreca and Dallara, who have been writing their successes in the pages of motorsport history for more than 40 years, or even Riley Tech and Multimatic, two key players from the American circuits who are joining forces for this great project. It’s an incredibly motivating challenge in which we will put all our energy to satisfy the sporting bodies who have put their faith in us, as well as our current, and future, clients. We have a great year of preparation and team work ahead. This announcement is also a great reward for the work of all our teams since 2012. We are still a very young manufacturer, but rich with a great experience that we want to keep on enriching with many successes. We know the Asian and American markets well, which will be an asset in supporting our clients.”
