Driver´s Quotes:
Átila Abreu, BMW Z4 #77
“It was so very nice weekend. Began troubled half, but we were evolving and achieved encouraging results for the remainder of the season with two second places. We had a lot of learning at this round. I believe we can fight for wins and podiums throughout the year, which will come with a lot of work. In race 1,the Valdeno started well and the team did a good job in the pit stop. I was also getting used to the car and the circuit. In race 2, coming out in P2, I knew it was important to keep the position and could have a strong pace. We made changes in setup of the car which have had good results. The Valdeno took the second part of the race and managed well, and again we have good pit stop. It was a perfect weekend”.
Valdeno Brito, BMW Z4 #77
“It was great to come here and get this result. The second place was stuck in the throat, since last year, when they took on the podium with a penalty without cause. The whole team did a good job. It was a great weekend. The team is to be congratulated, because it was the maximum of performance that our car could do. Everything worked perfectly”.
Sérgio Jimenez, BMW Z$ #0
“In race 1, I left well and went out, almost could jump to third but took one touch and fell positions. The pace was good, but behind other cars, we could not get good income. In the end we took two positions and finished fourth. In Race 2, our pace was not so good, why not find the perfect setup for our car. It was not such a good result for car #0, but for the team was very positive weekend”.
