Danish Ferrari outfit Insight Racing is looking very much ahead to this weekend’s three hour race at the world famous Autodromo di Monza. The race on Sunday the 12. kicks off the championship consisting of five rounds.
Danish drivers Dennis Andersen and Martin Jensen has spent much of March preparing for the 2015 season enjoying two fruitful tests at French Paul Ricard and Italian Misano.
The testing has left the Danes highly optimistic ahead of the first race of the season with lap times consistently in the top five, racking up more kilometers than before.
Martin Jensen, teammanager and driver:
“We have plenty of reason to be optimistic – we are prepared than ever completing four days of testing. We have worked a lot on setting up the car making it both quicker and more consistent, which will make things a lot easier for us.
The Pro/Am field will again be very tough, but we should be able to mix it with the big guys. The 458 GT3 has proven very quick with the upgrade package and if we are able to keep performing like we have done at the recent tests, we should be good for a top five finish in Pro/Am.”
Dennis Andersen, driver:
“I can hardly wait to get going at Monza! We have had some good testing days preparing for the season, and it will be really interesting to see if we will be able to convert this weekend.
We will have some upgrades for the car, but we don’t expect it to change the setup and our good feeling from testing lately.”
