Thomas and Anders Fjordbach tested his brand new Audi R8 GT3

The 2015 season starts for Thomas and Anders Fjordbach who unveiled on Tuesday his new racing machine for this season: An spectacular Audi R8 GT3. They were two days in this European race track of Slovakia Ring with Czech racing team I.S.R for preparing an intense race program that will begin this month.

Fjordbach brothers will compete in Blancpain GT Series, in both categories Sprint and Endurance. The first one, will seat Anders and Thomas sharing the R8 in seventh rounds. In Endurance, Anders will compete all the season with other partners. By his hand, Thomas will run in the prestigious Audi R8 LMS Cup Asia.

Tuesday was the day of adaptation for first time with the new car, Thomas and Anders did a lot of laps and large stings searching confidence with the car and getting more and more comfortable back at the wheel of the German car.

On Wednesday session both had the possibility to compare the times with his team mates in I.S.R.They were searching different car adjustments to configure the R8 to his driving style, trying different set ups and working hard with the engineers of Czech team. The day ended with substantial progresses in the track and Anders and Thomas, also tried out the driver pit change.

At the end of the day, they reported:

Thomas Fjordbach “This car represents an authentic step forward in our motorsport career, his level of performance it’s really impressive. Last season I was driving with Ferrari in Asia and I learnt a lot so this season with this car we will put all the efforts to continue showing our competitiveness in GT Asia series inside Audi R8 LMS Cup. And of course here in Europe, the Blancpain Sprint Series will complete an excellent race season with the R8. I am very happy with this 2015 racing project, and I have to say thank you to all that made possible. Definitely going to be an amazing year!”

Anders Fjordbach “I’m really looking forward to start competing with the Audi. This season I will be centrate in Blancpain Series, which there is no doubt that it’s an exciting challenge for a driver. The tests gone very well, the car is perfect and I believe that Thomas and I we will work very good on the track in Sprint Series. After a very good season with some very good podiums and races in Endurance, this season we will fight for be one of the bests”

Next racing compromise of High Class Racing will be at French Circuit of Paul Ricard (11-12/March) in the official collective test of Blancpain Endurance Series.
