Joel Camathias ended his 2014 sporting season on a positive note, as he took two podium finishes in the final round of the International GT Open in Barcelona. The Swiss driver was twice third, together with team mate Matteo Beretta, at the wheel of the Porsche 911 R of Autorlando Sport, after two faultless races.

With the good results in Catalonia, the duo brings to seven the number of podium finishes conquered this season, including victory at Silverstone, and finished third in the championship standings.

Joel Camathias:

“It has been a warm and challenging weekend, as expected. We struggled more than anticipated to find the right set-up in practices, but eventually we had a good race pace and we could climb through the field, without making any mistake. Third place in both races, which were quite similar in their development, was a good reward for Matteo, me and the team. We finish on a positive note a good and pleasant season, and I want to thank everybody for their support. See you in 2015!”
