Ginetta continue to establish their motorsport forte across the globe, today confirming the first order of the Ginetta-Juno LMP Track Car will be exported to the BC Racing Team in Taiwan.
The purchase of the Ginetta-Juno LMP Track Car marks an exciting move for the BC Racing Team. Founded in 2012 as part of Taiwan Bor-Chuann Enterprise Co., Ltd. by Company Owner, Johnson Huang, in pursuit of his passion for motorsport, the BC Racing Team has competed in Touring Car and GT Car racing – including FiA GT3 grade racing.
In 2014, the BC Racing Team contested the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia racing series as well as a handful of other GT races, and for 2015 are looking to develop a Sports Car programme which will see entries into multiple series throughout the year with their Ginetta-Juno LMP Track Car. Furthermore, BC Racing is set to become the official Ginetta and Ginetta-Juno distributor within Taiwan
Lawrence Tomlinson, Chairman of Ginetta Cars said; “I am delighted to be working with Henry Hsueh and the BC Racing Team, they are fully committed to developing the motorsport scene in Taiwan and are ideal partners for Ginetta-Juno in Asia. We look forward to selling and supporting more cars into Taiwan with the team.”
Boasting a LMP3 homologated carbon monocoque, the Ginetta-Juno LMP Track Car is to be powered by a Nissan V8 engine capable of 500bhp and will house an Xtrac 6-speed sequential gearbox with paddleshift, as well as FIA approved high capacity fuel system and offer extras such as traction control and air conditioning.
The Ginetta-Juno LMP Track Car has received unprecedented interest from drivers with varying levels of racing experience since its launch a few weeks ago, thanks to its introductory price of £99,000+vat, which is unheard of in this market.
