To underline the always special character of the closing round of Barcelona and recognize the sportive spirit of am-am driver pairs, GT Sport has decided this year to create a Gentlemen Team Trophy that will be awarded to the best team of Gentlemen drivers in each of the two races scheduled on 1st and 2nd November at the Circuit de Catalunya.
To be eligible to participate in this special Trophy, drivers will have to comply with the usual Gentleman Driver rules of the GT Open (to be 45 years of age or above at 30 April 2014, not to have won any FIA-sanctioned title and being considered ‘gentleman’ by the organizing committee on the base of their record) but also be categorized as Bronze in the FIA rankings.
The winning pair will receive their trophy on the podium of each of the two Barcelona races.
