Scuderia Villorba Corse came out from the Monza’s weekend, penultimate round of the International GT Open, with the excellent podium scored by their Ferrari 458 in Saturday’s race-1. In race-2, unfortunately, Andrea Montermini and Niccolò Schiro were slowed down by a transmission problem and forced to a very long pit stop, where they lost 5 laps and all their chances to get another positive result. Despite that, Italian team led by Raimondo Amadio tenaciously scored three precious points managing to solve the problem and to cross the finish line in fifth position of the Super GT class. So, with only one round to go, the title fight remains open and everything will be decided in Barcelona on November 1-2, when Villorba Corse will start the season finale from third place in the standings just four points behind the leaders.
