Continuing to communicate its plans and a vision for the future, IMSA management released the 2015 IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship schedule on Sunday during the Continental Tire Road Race Showcase at Road America event.

The schedule will feature ten rounds of TUDOR Prototype competition to decide the  2015 championship, with the season opening on January 24-25 with the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, Visit Florida Racing is competing in its seventh full season of Prototype competition and is currently third in the 2014 IMSA championship  with four podium finishes including a victory at Watkins Glen in June.

“This is great news to have IMSA already have the 2015 schedule finalized and it is another great line up of tracks and dates again next year,” said Visit Florida Racing team owner Troy Flis. “We are thrilled that it will kick off with our home race at Daytona International Speedway as we feel like we’ve got some unfinished business there. And of course it is always good to visit Florida in January! This is good news for our sponsor partners and for everyone to work on plans for next season, so hat’s off to the IMSA folks for having it ready to go already.”
