Ferdinand Stuck takes up test and development driver role for the race car stable.

2011 was the most successful year to date in Ferdinand Stuck’s motorsport career – with Reiter Engineering Racing, Hans Reiter’s team, he clinched three pole positions and four race wins in the ADAC GT Masters, which was enough to win the German GT Championship and the ADAC GT Masters runner-up title.

A lot has happened since then, Ferdinand finished his training as Management Assistant for Marketing and Communication in the same year and today studies Business Administration at the European University in Munich.

Ferdinand Stuck: “Unfortunately I don’t have much time at the moment to devote myself 100 % to motorsport. The contact with Hans Reiter never broke after the fantastic 2011 season, so we decided quite quickly that it would be a good thing for all of us if we concentrate on tests and development work. In this way I have enough time to follow my academic goals and stay in training at the same time,” says Ferdinand Stuck who, as son of ex-Formula 1 race driver Hans-Joachim Stuck, appears to have been born with the enthusiasm for motorsport in his blood.

Hans Reiter: “Ferdinand did an incredible job in 2011 in his first year at the wheel of a GT car and even then proved that he cannot just drive quickly, but also contributed to improve our Lamborghini thanks to his good feeling for racecars. In 2012 and 2013 he learnt a great deal more driving other GT3 cars and can therefore bring a lot of very important experience for the development of our racecars.”
