AF Corse, the stalwart Italian GT team closely linked to Ferrari and present in the GT scene around the world, will continue to be one of the top forces in the International GT Open where it has conquered the overall and SuperGT  Teams titles in 2010 (Kaffer-Barba) and 2012 (Bruni-Leo).

The Picenza-based will enter this year four Ferraris F458 GT3, with some big names in its driver line-up. One car will see the debut of Giorgio Roda, the 20-years-old son of GT Open star Gianluca, who joins from the F.Abarth and will be associated to Paolo Ruberti. A replacement for Ruberti will be nominated later for the rounds where Ruberti is taken by other commitments. GT Open regulars Claudio Sdanewitsch and Michele Rugolo will again partner on another car, as well as Duncan Cameron and Matt Griffin. When taken by their WEC commitments, Rugolo and Griffin will be replaced respectively by other top drivers such as Federico Leo and Rui Aguas. Another car, which is expected to enter six events, will be entrusted to Thomas Flohr and Francesco Castellacci.

“With this strong line-up”, stated Amato Ferrari, “we are determined to do well and we are happy to reconfirm our long-standing presence in the series”.
