British racing driver Sarah Reader has announced she will be launching an attack on the V de V Endurance Series with TFL Racing for the 2014 season.
Bath-based Reader brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge to the outfit, having proven her pace with the team in selected V de V races and the 2012 SPEED EuroSeries, and will be joined by co-driver Flick Haigh, who will debut in the series after making an impressive mark in Caterhams as well as Britcar in a Ginetta G55.
The pair are set to campaign the TFL Racing Juno CN prototype in a 7-race calendar, starting with a gruelling 6-hour endurance at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 21-23 March, which will also feature other prestigious circuits throughout Spain and France before the season finale at Estoril, Portugal in November.
Sarah Reader:
“I’m really looking forward to racing the Juno again and to be returning to V de V – it’s going to be a busy, but very exciting, season.
“Flick and I have known each other for a few years now and she’s proven herself to be a very quick and talented driver.
“We’ll be testing the car at Donington on Thursday as we work through our preparations, and I’m confident we will make a good pairing and be capable of achieving some strong results.”
Alongside her V de V commitments, Reader will also compete a full season of the UK-based Fun Cup in the #188 Global Racing entry, run by the highly experienced and successful Trackcars4hire squad.
Having raced with the team in selected Fun Cup races last season, Reader will again race alongside car owner/driver John Gilbert and, in addition, the pair are set to take the car for a bite at the ever-popular 25 Hours of Spa.
