Clearwater Racing Enter 3 Hours of Sepang

Clearwater Racing have confirmed their entry into the finale of the 2013 Asian Le Mans Series, 3 Hours of Sepang on December 8th at Sepang International Circuit. The South-East Asian team will run their #33 Ferrari 458 GT3 that won this year’s Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race (MME) in the GTC class at Sepang. As well as winning this year’s MME Race Clearwater won the 2011 & 2012 GT Asia Team Championship and are currently 2nd in the 2013 GT Asia Team Championship.

Driving for Clearwater will be Malaysian Mok Weng Sun who was one Clearwater’s divers for MME this year; he was also won the GT Asian Drivers’ Championship in 2011 & 2012 and is currently in 2nd place in this year’s Championship. Partnering Mok will be Italian Gianmaria Bruni; the former F1 driver is a 6 time 24 Hours of Le Mans competitor in GT (twice winner), as well as current 2013 FIA WEC GT Drivers Championship leader with the Team Championship leaders AF Corse.

Clearwater Racing have a very strong history in racing that includes:
·         Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Gentleman’s Class Champions in 2008 & 2010
·         MME 12-Hour Overall Winners in 2008 & 2013
·         Malaysia Super Series Champions in 2008, 2009 & 2010
·         Bathurst 12-Hours: 2nd in 2013 & 3rd in 2012
