Joël Camathias will be involved in a second high-profile GT program in the forthcoming 2013 season. The Swiss driver (32) today announced he will be racing in the revamped European Le Mans Series with a Ferrari 458 GT2 of British squad JMW Motorsport, the reigning ELMS champion in the GTE category. Joel, who won the GT Drivers’ ELMS title back in 2006, will take part to all the five championship events and will be partnering with Italian Ferrari factory driver Andrea Bertolini.

Earlier this month, Joël confirmed its participation to the 2013 International GT Open with Ombra Racing, sharing a Ferrari 458 GT3 with Mario Cordoni.

I am delighted to go back to the ELMS, which is bound to return to splendour this year, and to do it with such a competitive team as JMW Motorsport.
