Team of Joe Genoud and Benoit Morand which will engage a Morgan Judd LMP2 prototype in European Le Mans Series will see their racing season brighten up with the most famous race : The Le Mans 24 Hours. Firstable selected by l’Automobile Club de l’Ouest but on the reserve list, Swiss racing team is now delighted to race the greatest endurance race of them all.

Benoit Morand : « For a team, Le Mans 24 Hours is a dream because more than a race it’s a real myth we will be able to live as team next June. Our work done during winter with Onroak, Judd and Dunlop put us on the reserve list and later to join the teams who will compete this amazing event which will celebrate its 90th anniversary. We would like to thank l’Automobile Club de l’Ouest, they trusted us since the beginning and we would like to wish Starworks great success in North America. »

Joe Genoud : « Today is such an important day for Morand Racing, for Benoit who is working so hard with our engineers, mechanics, partners and drivers but also for all the people who follow us since the beginning. What a wonderful day for us ! This annoucement is the end of long expectation and now we can be focused on Le Mans. We can proudly say « We will be there ! » Back in 1983, I was racing in Le Mans with Philippe Bouzanne and Jean Michel Mattioli as a motorcycle racer, this year I will be there as member of my own structure.»
