After the official test days in Paul Ricard in March, now the season really begins for the MRS team. This weekend the team from Lonsee will start for the first race of the Blancpain Endurance series in Monza. With a new driver line up and new car design, the team will compete with the McLaren MP4-12C GT3.

This season the MRS McLaren comes with a spectacular design. Designed by the driver Rodin Younessi and realized by MRS partner “Cam Shaft”, the McLaren possesses orange gold main elements with black and chrome minor elements. Certainly one of the most flashy and beautiful cars in the starting field.

The race in Monza promises a lot of action, the starting field is full with 60 cars. On Saturday morning the so-called Bronze test takes place, where the amateur drivers have the opportunity to familiarize with the car and the track. Shortly afterwards the free practice will take place before the pre-qualifying will start in the afternoon. On Sunday morning the starting field for the 3 hours race will be determined in a 15 minutes qualifying each. At two mandatory pit stops tires and drivers have to been changed.

For this Blancpain Endurance series season three drivers will share the work behind the steeling wheel. The US American Rodin Younessi, who already drove for the MRS team at the 24 hours of Dubai; the Brazilian Carlos Kray and MRS driver Philipp Eng, who already showed full potential at the test in March.
