Following the start of the European Le Mans Series season two weeks ago at Silverstone, Joël Camathias is ready and anxious to start its other 2013 programme, the International GT Open. The first round will take place this weekend at the Circuit Paul Ricard, in France. The Swiss driver will share a Ferrari F458 GT3 entered in the GTS category by Ombra Racing with Mario Cordoni.

Joël Camathias: “It is very nice to be back in the International GT Open, where I won two overall titles in the past. This time I will be driving in the GTS class that caters GT3 cars and which definitely looks like the most competitive class, with many manufacturers represented and many big names among teams and drivers. It is going to be a very exciting season and I am confident that, together with Mario and such a professional team as Ombra Racing, we can do well. Recent test went very well and we feel completely ready!”.
