Danish racing team Insight Racing are looking to further build on a strong start to the season in the Blancpain Endurance Series opener at Monza in April.

The Danish duo of Martin Jensen (Albertslund, Denmark) and Dennis Andersen came home with a fifth place in the strong pro-am championship which couples a professional driver with an amateur.

The team arrives at British Silverstone this weekend with high hopes of replicating that result. Upgrades on the team’s Ferrari 458 Italia and an strengthened and optimistic technical team bodes well before the second of five races this season.

Martin Jensen, driver and Team Manager: “We had a great race last time out at Monza, where we exceeded our own expectations with a fifth place finish. That was our target for the season. Now we are looking forward to Silverstone, which is a great place to race. And it is the home race of our Crew Chief Tim Munday. With the arrival of Tim the team has taken a leap forward, but our goal remains to be in the top five and hopefully to have a chance at a podium finish at one point.”

“The team is still quite young and we are developing as a team and the way we work. Everyone in the team is giving his best and we are determined to keep an eye on every detail and reach our goals for the season.”
