SaReNi United fields the Camaro GT3 once again in competition to conclude the ADAC GT Masters 2013 season at the Hockenheimring. During the last race at the Slovakia Ring (SVK) at the end of August, the American muscle car disappointed and did not perform as expected by the team.

The Camaro GT3 comes to the Hockenheimring with the latest specification tyres. Prior to this, the team could only use tyres from last year’s production batch as the Camaro is the only vehicle running 19-inch wheels, and the Japanese manufacturer had only made 18-inch tyres available so far this season. All other cars contesting the ADAC GT Masters use the smaller 18-inch wheels. The manufacturer has now moved to fulfil the demand and supply the Camaro GT3 with this year’s type of tyre. Initial tests held this week proved to be positive and give grounds for optimism and better results this coming weekend.

“The development of a racecar has its problems and takes time. We just have to take this time, be patient and test extensively. We have made another step forwards with the tyres that were now supplied to us. It is important that we get amongst the midfield and leave the back of the field in our wake. The Camaro GT3 is certainly capable of this,” says Team Manager Tomas Enge confidently.

The Camaro GT is driven this coming weekend by Albert von Thurn und Taxis (DEU) and from the experienced GM factory driver Oliver Gavin (GBR).

The races on Saturday and Sunday are also broadcast live on kabeleins from 12:00.
