Full Speed will run 2 cars in the FIA GT Championship with Pirelli tyres and undertook a Technical test with all Drivers at Donington Park on Tuesday.
Driver, Stephane Lemeret was pleased to run the car No 11 throughout the day with out any problems. He said we have to work on the setup and he is very positive for a successful season. Emerson Newton-John was driving the car No 13, with Michel Orts. Michel said after the test “I’m happy to be in the Team”
Full Speed came to an agreement with Johnny Mowlem to be the official team Test-Driver, Johnny drove the Saleen for the first time in two years and was immediately on the pace he is now working with the drivers and Graham Nash to apply his experience to both cars to achieve the right setup to enable the drivers to run for the Championship/Podium.
The Ex-Saleen Factory Driver is checking his schedule, and Team Full Speed is hoping he will sign a contract for the season as a driver and compete with the team at the first race at his home track at Silverstone. In the afternoon Norbert Walchhofer also drove the car No 13 and David Prewitt, the Team Manager was surprised how fast the 56 year old driver was in the Saleen.
The Team is looking forward to the official FIA Test at Paul Ricard HTTT on the 6th & 7th April.
