Aston Martin Racing driver, 24-year-old Stuart Hall (GB), had a dream finish to his Le Mans Series weekend at the ADAC 1000km of Nürburgring. Driving the 008 Gulf-liveried LMP1 car alongside Aston Martin team-mates Chris Buncombe (GB) and Miguel Ramos (PT), Bishops-Stortford based Hall played an important part in securing a third place finish and historic all Aston Martin podium.

The trio of Aston Martins ran trouble free for the duration of the race, stopping only for the seven scheduled pit stops each. Commencing from a challenging fifth-row grid position, Hall and his 008 team-mates worked tirelessly throughout the race, managing to move through the pack to occupy fourth place after three hours. In the following two hours, Hall built on the strong team position and moved into third place before handing over to Buncombe who held the position to claim the final place on the podium for the 008 car.

Hall, a BRDC (British Racing Drivers’ Club) Superstar, is enjoying the result: “I’ve had a fantastic weekend in Germany – it’s great to be back in the Aston Martin and I’ve really enjoyed working with the whole team, especially Chris and Miguel who were great to drive with. We worked really well together and I’m glad that our hard work paid off, allowing Aston Martin Racing to dominate the podium! This result really came at the perfect time. I’m grateful for the faith that Aston Martin has shown in me and I can’t wait to get back in the car at Silverstone now. Driving at my favourite circuit with such a prestigious British team is going to be a real privilege and I believe we’re in a strong position to challenge for another great result.”
